I founded Greenspace Financial to provide clients with integrated tax and financial advice under one roof. With my background in investment management, I realized the opportunity (and frustration) of many clients having disjointed investment and tax strategies. Now, I’ve built a team to guide our clients through life’s phases with all the tools they need – from life for new parents insurance to retirement planning for executives.

I’ve been an Enrolled Agent with the IRS since 2020 and I am the chief tax preparer of our firm. In this role I am supported by our Senior Tax Consultant, Francine Cornaglia CPA/PFS, and our Operations Manager, Kristine Hopp.

My background is in investment management. I hold the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, the international gold standard in financial analysis and management, covering portfolio construction, risk management, and ethics.  I spent my formative years in finance at a firm catering to the unique needs of Americans working abroad, which gave me insights into the tax opportunities and pitfalls they face. I also had the good fortune of traveling to exotic locales to meet with our largest institutional clients.

I have walked hundreds of people through their first ever investment account and I have given board presentations overseas to multimillion-dollar institutions. Whether you are receiving your first stock grant or contemplating your retirement account distributions, I know you are making important decisions with my advice. My clients have always felt heard, respected, and they have raved about my white glove service. It is very important for me to get it right the first time.

I “got it right the first time” meeting my wife, Rebecca, at the London School of Economics where we completed our junior year of college. Senior year we survived long-distance and my thesis project on Chinese use of tax havens (no, I will not be hiding your money there!) After graduating, we volunteered at a microfinance cooperative in Ecuador before starting our careers in finance.

In my free time, I enjoy being active and outside, learning new things, and cooking. I am obsessed with music and always looking for new tunes and venues to explore. See you on the dance floor!
